I’m Kim, and if you are new to my blog, welcome! I am so glad you are here, and hope you become a regular at the Charming Homes & Gardens party, and to Shiplap and Shells!
My blog is all about my home, garden and life in the PNW. I live in a beach cottage on the Puget Sound with my husband and pups, Lucy and Jax. We have spent the last 8 years, renovating, improving and adding character and charm to our 100 year-old cottage.
THIS WEEK ON SHIPLAP AND SHELLS
I hope you all had a wonderful Labor Day weekend! I took SO MANY pictures of the garden, knowing that the late summer blooms would not last forever. You can see some of my evening pictures by clicking the link below. I also cut armfuls of hydrangeas and brought them into the house for drying. They really add to my fall decor.
I know there’s a lot going on for everyone this week. Hugs and positive thoughts to you all.
AN ENCHANTED EVENING STROLL THROUGH THE GARDEN
As summer continues to come to a close, I look forward to enchanted evenings like this, when I can stroll through the garden and enjoy the beauty that my cottage garden has to offer.
3 EASY WAYS TO DRY HYDRANGEAS
Hydrangeas are such beautiful flowers, and make a stunning statement, whether they are in the garden, or indoors. You can enjoy these gorgeous blooms for months to come by drying them. Here are 3 easy ways to dry your hydrangeas.
