How to Bring the Outdoors to Your Fall Tablescape

  • Facebook
  • Email

Are you looking for some autumn inspiration when it comes to decorating your table for the season? See how I brought outdoor elements to this fall tablescape for a fresh look with warmth and charm.

It’s time for the first fall tablescape of the season. We don’t start seeing pumpkins here until after the first of October, but there’s still plenty of outdoor elements that can be brought indoors.

Bringing the Outdoors Inside Your Home

There were plenty of perfectly amazing goodies from my garden that I used for my fall tablescape.

Create Color With Dahlia Blooms

The dahlias are still in full bloom this time of year and make for a great centerpiece.

I always love how these beautiful blooms look in an old, vintage galvanized bucket.

Seasonal Fruit is a Perfect Touch for a Fall Table

Pears and the leaves from the pear trees make a great addition to any fall centerpiece.

I also used apples from the tree in the garden but wanted to add a big splash of color. So I brought in my faux red apples. Don’t they look real?

I finished off this tablescape with a few pinecones and tea candles.

And that’s how you bring the outdoors to your fall tablescape!

And I just couldn’t resist adding this picture of Jax to the blog post. I mean technically he is not sitting at the dinner table. He’s just assisting me with my photoshoot. That’s not against the rules, is it?

Shop My Favorite Fall Table Runners

If you want some extra fall table inspiration, check out my friend Ann, who decorated her table with American country antiques!

Drop a comment, I’d love to hear from you!

Until next time,

I love the idea of using fresh fruit! I don’t do that enough, just don’t think about it. Great post Kim! Your photos are stunning!

Kim, I’m excited to feature your post on the Tuesday Turn About Link Party this week. I enjoyed your post so much with the mix of vibrant fruit and flower colors. “A feast for the eyes” is such a cliche, but so appropriate when looking at your fall table. I’m excited to feature your post on the Tuesday Turn About Link Party this week.
