What’s Going on in the World of Shiplap and Shells

I got my flower seeds in the mail! I start sowing my sweet peas next week.

I’ve been busy at my desk this week, writing my new Blog Series, Growing a Cut Flower Garden. It’s been a lot of fun, and I’m hoping that if you are wanting to grow some flowers in your garden, you find my posts informative.

Here are the posts available on the blog currently…

GROWING A CUT FLOWER GARDEN BLOG SERIES

I’m not a huge Valentine decorator, but I am all about the idea of spring making its way into our home. I love anything floral with hearts here and there for Valentines decor. Here are a few things I found when window shopping online. I hope you see something that inspires you!

I didn’t give you much home decor this week, but will be back to it next week. I hope you’ll forgive me just this once.

The Antique Candle Co. is still offering their fall and Christmas candles 30% off while supplies last. And the spring collection is here! Free shipping for all US orders over $50.

My Favorite Inspiration Around the Web From Last Week…

Are you hungry for CHICKEN ENCHILADAS MADE FROM SCRATCH? My friend Tammy of Chez Nous creates a homemade sauce that’s a little spicy and a bit smoky. Tammy lives in the PNW, in Washington State, and is quite the cook. If you haven’t visited her blog, make sure you check out her amazing recipes.

Michele of VIntage Home Designs shares how to make this cute pillow. The heart is made of vintage buttons and this is just the perfect accessory for Valentine’s Day.

Do you know my friend Stacy of Bricks ‘n Blooms? She is my very favorite gardening friend. Stacy has some great ideas for those of you who want to grow flowers from seeds this year, but don’t have a greenhouse. Make sure you go visit her blog for more information. She’s so smart!!!
