Pack up those heavy blankets and flannel sheets, and change them up for more breathable fabrics such as linen or cotton percale. All bedding sources are listed at the end.

Because flower blooms are so colorful, adding them to your bedroom will brighten things up.

Fresh flowers are always a wonderful touch, but when they’re not an option, faux flowers and greenery work just as well. And most of the faux options these days, look so real.

  4. Hello Kim!
I found your website through a blog hop, and I’m so glad that I did! Not only did I read your most recent post. (Your bedroom is so soothing, so breath-taking.) I perused your other posts and absolutely fell in love with your decorating style. I especially love your use of color, natural textures and vintage items. I miss seeing color! Many other blogs use so much white in their decor that it seems cold and sterile. Your home feel warm and welcoming, unpretentious, cozy and lived-in! What a nice change! I cannot say enough about your home. If I lived there, I would never want to leave!

  7. So pretty and love your bedroom ready for spring. I have mentioned it before, love your bedding. I checked Target and it says Teal shadow. Can you tell me if it’s real teak? I have navy’s and cream. I would love to know, it looks grey on my screen. Thanks. Pinned .

    1. Hi Cindy! I just looked at the Target site and it looks just like my bedding. It’s more of a gray and dusty blue in my opinion. My quilt looks nothing like teal. Thanks for popping on here today!
