I’m Kim, and if you are new to my blog, welcome! I am so glad you are here, and hope you become a regular at the Charming Homes & Gardens party, and to Shiplap and Shells!
My blog is all about my home, garden and life in the PNW. I live in a beach cottage on the Puget Sound with my husband and pups, Lucy and Jax. We have spent the last 8 years, renovating, improving and adding character and charm to our 100 year-old cottage.
THIS WEEK ON SHIPLAP AND SHELLS
It’s definitely feeling more like fall here in the PNW. I had to say my goodbyes to my dahlias for the season. I am really focusing on putting the garden to bed for the winter. I’ll continue dividing some of my perennials, and mowing leaves into mulch to spread throughout the garden. And after that? Who knows. I may bring out my tubs full of Christmas and see what happens.

Thanks so much for hosting Kim! Sharing my pumpkin bread to go along with your National Pumpkin Day!
Oh good! I do love pumpkin bread! I will have to try it!
Thanks so much for the party. There are so many wonderful features. My geraniums keep from year to year {I do have the milder California weather which helps} but I’ve had them for over a decade now. They are pretty resilient. You reminded me I should prep my veggie garden for winter. Have a great week.
XO- MaryJo
