I’m so excited to take you on a Christmas cottage bedroom tour! Our bedroom is my favorite room in the house to decorate for the holidays. It feels extra warm and cozy, mostly because it is such a small space. I guess that makes our bedroom the easiest room in our beach cottage to decorate for Christmas as well!
Because our bedroom is quite small, I try not to add too much decor at Christmastime. I do always fit in a Christmas tree or two though! The traditional Christmas color red is scarce here. This colorful quilt is a year-round favorite, so I usually leave it on through the holidays. Because of this, I try to keep the Christmas color scheme to blues, pinks, creams and some greenery.
Because the bay leaf and mercury glass ball garland looked so magical, I am even thinking of leaving it up for another month or two! I will be adding mercury glass ornaments and greenery to the chandelier next Christmas season. I limited my holiday decor this year, because I was recuperating from foot surgery.
Candles and a throw are an essential part of making this cottage style bedroom Christmas decor worthy! I truly believe there is no such thing as too many pillows in a cottage bedroom! Are you with me?
I’m on the hunt for a vintage Christmas sign, so the bedroom will have more of a holiday feel. It shouldn’t be too hard to find.
There’s one more thing I need to make this bedroom Christmas complete! A blanket of snow right outside these windows would do the trick! So there you have it! Our Christmas cottage bedroom tour is now complete! Thank you for coming along! I’d love to hear about any other Christmas decor ideas you might have for this cozy cottage space!
