This and That…

Happy Sunday! And welcome to another week of Saltwater Sounds.

Did you know that more people visit this blog post than any of the others that I post during the week?

I like to think of this wrap-up a little like stories on Instagram… behind-the-scenes stuff that I normally wouldn’t share on a regular post but still want to share with you.

Things are looking up for us here in the Seattle area with warmer temperatures, even hitting 61°F. today if we’re lucky.

In the Greenhouse

My tiny little seedlings are growing in the greenhouse. And the geraniums are getting prettier and prettier.

I pinched the sweet pea seedlings a couple of days ago. I snipped them right above the third set of leaves.

I’m going to start hardening them off in a week or so. Our average last frost date is April 18th but sweet peas can handle a little frost so they’ll be alright being transplanted into the garden earlier than the rest of the seedlings.

Other than the sweet peas, these zinnias are the only other seedlings that are growing at a quick rate. Everything else still seems tiny.

A Walk in the Garden

The daffodils are blooming throughout the garden.

I’ll share more pics with you in my garden blog post next week.

And guess what?!?!?!

I have tulips! These are the first tulips that have bloomed. This raised bed has a mix of tulips and only the yellow ones have come up. I can’t wait to see the rest.

My New Favorite Antique Candle Co. Favorite Fragrance

Did you order the spring candle testers last week from Antique Candle Co.? This was the first tester where I had the hardest time making a decision as to which one I liked the best.

The choices were

  • Blueberry Cobbler
  • Lilac
  • Coastal Linen
  • Honeysuckle

I can’t wait to find out which one is the winner.

Speaking of winning candle testers, FRESH ROASTED COFFEE was the winner of the Coffee Candle Testers back in September. They picked my favorite fragrance! It is AMAZING!
