Shiplap and Shells
Celebrate summer with a backyard barbeque. I'll share how to create a quick and easy tablescape that you can use for any summer event you host.
Our deck with the Puget Sound waterview and garden flowers is where I wanted to create this quick and easy summer barbeque tablescape.
I started with a blue, white, and yellow color theme and just pulled what I had around the house and in the garden - I had an abundance of daisies that I used for the centerpiece.
This vintage galvanized container full of daises is the anchor of this summer centerpiece. I placed glass jars filled with water in the bucket so the daisies would stay hydrated.
I snagged some blue and yellow croquet balls I found throughout the years at the various thrift stores in keeping with the summer barbeque vibe.
I wanted the chargers to match the galvanized vibe from the bucket of daisies. Any white dinner plate will do here.
The table setting includes blue and white patterned cloth napkins, wicker napkin ring holders, patterned tablecloth, and glassware.
The menu includes grilled colorful steak and vegetable kabobs, potato salad, greek pasta salad, homemade coleslaw, and peaches and cream parfait for dessert.
