What’s Going on in the World of Shiplap and Shells

1 – Congratulations to Sharon ( she knows who she is) for winning my pot rack. For those of you who entered the drawing, and shared your favorite holiday memory in the comments, thank you. I absolutely LOVED reading all of them.

2 – I could be the only one that has never watched a Hallmark movie. But I do like the holiday classics like “It’s a Wonderful Life”,”Holiday Inn” and “A Christmas Story”. And I have been known to have a Charlie Brown holiday evening.

3 – I have just started a new Facebook Group called Gardening Tips and Tricks – Shiplap and Shells. This group is all about sharing gardening ideas, tips and inspiration with each other. It doesn’t matter what level of gardener you are, what hardiness zone you’re in, or what style of garden you have, we can always learn from each other. I would love to have you join.

4 – I’ve been shopping up a storm lately. And I am so glad because there are things that I am already finding that are sold out. I’ll be sharing my favorite holiday finds, including gift guides for the next few weeks.

My Favorite Pottery Barn Christmas Decor

A Gift Guide for Gardeners

Antique Candle Co. candles are a great holiday gift. I just bought a Christmas bundle, which I am going to split up and give the individual candles to neighbors and the hard workers in my life, like my mail person, and my friend that does my hair. They are offering free shipping on every order right now.

5 – If you haven’t entered already, a group of bloggers is giving away 6 cash prizes which will be announced just in time for Black Friday shopping.

6 – It will be a very different Thanksgiving this year. For us, it will just be me, my husband and the two pups, Jax & Lucy. I just wrote a blog post about how you can make the best of your 2020 Thanksgiving.

What I’m Working on for Next Week:

I’m all about Christmas decor next week on the blog, as well as more gift guides and decor favorites. I have a few DIY projects in the works as well, and let’s just say I have plans to take full advantage of the magnolia tree in my yard.

Check Out the Amazing Inspiration I Found This Week Around the Web…

This is probably the last time I will be sharing a fall tablescape for the year, but this gorgeous dining room and tablescape, belonging to Christy of Our Southern Home, is so worth featuring this week in honor of Thanksgiving.

Amanda of Sincerely Marie Designs, has the prettiest snowy bedroom Christmas tree. It’s a stunner for sure.

Look at these cute little gingerbread mug toppers that Ashley of Modern Glam made. Can’t you see these on top of your mug of hot chocolate?

More Inspiration…

I found a couple of things for Thanksgiving dinner. Don’t forget to eat your veggies. Cornbread dressing anyone?

I’m definitely making these place cards for Thanksgiving dinner next year.

This winter village.

I’m in the mood for some hot chocolate.

This coffee/hot chocolate bar and a sweet story you’re not going to want to miss.

I’m making this.

And this DIY.

Meet Kim
