To keep your garden healthy and beautiful during the summer, there are important tasks to consider. Follow along as I share 10 summer garden care essential tasks.
Make sure your plants receive adequate water, especially during hot and dry periods. Water deeply at the base of the plants to encourage strong root growth.
Regularly remove weeds from your garden beds to prevent them from competing with your plants for nutrients and water.
Provide your plants with nutrients by applying a balanced fertilizer or organic compost to promote healthy growth.

Harvest your flowers and edible plants in the garden regularly to encourage further growth.
Trim back overgrown branches and remove spent flowers (deadheading) to encourage new growth and prolong the blooming season.

Monitor your plants for sign of pests or diseases. Use organic insecticides, beneficial insects , or hand pick your pests for a more organic pest control approach.
Provide shade for heat-sensitive plants by using shade cloth or garden umbrellas.
