Wendy | WM Design House

First up is my friend Wendy, our Christmas Tree Decorating Ideas Blog Hop host.

Wendy shares her favorite Christmas home decorating tips, including adding natural elements to her decor for a more festive look. As you can see here, nobody does traditional red quite like she does.

You’ll also get a special treat when Wendy shares how to create a potpourri mix from citrus, cinnamon, and fresh rosemary. This mix can simmer on the stove, giving you the most wonderful holiday fragrance.

Rachel | The Ponds Farmhouse

My friend Rachel is probably one of the most creative and hard-working bloggers I have ever met. She is always busy sharing sustainable DIY and craft projects, including homemade ornaments.

Rachel is well known for her fabulous Christmas trees and this one is no exception. Here, she uses the most perfect natural elements, dried hydrangeas from her yard. Isn’t that a great idea?

And, of course, her ornaments and antique European grape gathering hod match perfectly. This is the most beautiful tree.

Jen | Midwest Life and Style

Next, my friend Jen lives in the middle of the heartland, and her beautiful blog inspires through budget-friendly home decor, simple DIYs, delicious family-friendly recipes, and everyday living.

Jen shares five simple steps for decorating a flocked tree. I absolutely love her use of classic red ornaments, Christmas tree ribbons, and floral picks.

The pretty star topper is the perfect finishing touch.

Jennifer | Cottage on Bunker Hill

Jennifer is a lifelong New England gal who shares her DIYs, decorating ideas, budget shopping ideas, and more.

Here, she shares a natural, neutral-themed Christmas tree. Decorating it with white Christmas tree decorations really made the green tree pop.

Brown shades of decor are styled so beautifully, and metal and wood ornaments are made from natural elements. The birdhouses are my favorite.

Kylie | Trueman’s Treasures

Fellow blogger Kylie lives in Nebraska and enjoys decorating on a budget, thrifting, fast & easy recipes, and comfortable mom fashion.

Kylie shares her gorgeous Christmas trees, which are in just about every room of her house and even on her outside porch. You will definitely find a Christmas tree idea or two in this post.

I loved seeing all her holiday inspiration in each space. The beautifully decorated tree above, with its incredible colored ornaments and Christmas lights, takes my breath away.

Next up is Amy, an artist, painter, designer, and DIYer.

Amy has more than one method to make textured Christmas ornaments look like high-end dupes. What a great way to save money!

She’ll share the supplies you need to make your own beautiful shaped or ball ornaments look as good as the expensive ones being sold at stores like Arhaus.

Jen | Tatertots and Jello

And then there’s my friend Jen (we have a lot of Jens here today), who has the most fun and unique style, which I’m in love with.

Here, Jen shares the most festive Christmas tree ideas that are also easy and affordable to create. Have you noticed how cute that pom-pom garland is above? Her bold Christmas tree ornaments and color scheme is a breath of fresh air.

I have to know what your favorite tree is among her 15 masterpieces. I’m torn between the “Hello” tree and the “Disco Ball” Christmas tree. You be the judge and let me know in the comments.

small tree decorated for Christmas

And last and certainly not least…my blog post on everything you can do with a small tree in a small space.

We live in a 1600-square-foot cottage and just don’t have the room for a large, extravagant tree like I used to put up. I use a lot of faux trees around the house, especially in the living room.

Whether you’re living in a small house or apartment or just don’t have the time for a big tree this year, I’ve got you covered. Go check it out!

I hope you found some Christmas tree theme ideas as well as decorating tips from all nine talented bloggers. Decorating your tree can be so much fun if you know what you’re doing. You can be so creative with holiday themes, too. Thanks for following along!

If you have any questions or additional suggestions, please share them in the comments below. And be sure to share this blog post link with anyone who may find these holiday ideas helpful.

Until next time,

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
