I hope you’re enjoying your fall weekend.

I’ve had a great one so far. I’m finishing up a small patio project in the garden.

The garden space above used to be so beautiful. But after years of growth and not dividing my perennials this past spring, it needed some serious help.

I had the plants taken out of the section we were going to put the stone in. I eventually found other homes for all of these plants.

Here it is with the ground cleared. It actually looks like a big space from here.

We don’t have the border yet but this temporary one worked enough to add sand to the cleared space.

The stones are being set inside the newly cleared-out area.

We’re still waiting for the permanent border which should be here in the next few days. Then we’ll add more sand. I’m trying to figure out how to add a chair and table to the area but it’s pretty small.
