Creating a Tablescape with Beautiful Blooms and Touches of Spring
Spring is just around the corner. I’ll share how I bring touches of spring to my tablescape to chase away those winter blues.
Early Spring Tablescape Inspiration
Today I’m joining a few of my favorite friends from the Charming Homes and Gardens Link party to share some early spring tablescapes. If you’re coming from Stacy of Bricks ‘n Blooms blog, welcome. Stacy always has the best tablescapes, and I’m sure you were inspired by her 5 clever early spring tablescape ideas.

It’s All About the Flowers
I shared a Valentine’s Day tablescape not too long ago, and I talked a lot about the flowers I used for the centerpiece. Well guess what? I’m all about the flowers again!
For those of you that have been following along on the blog this past year, and on Instagram, you know that I am a true flower girl. They just make me so happy.
And who doesn’t love forsythia. This bunch was from my good friend Lori, who actually gifted me my own little piece of her tree last year.
I force bloomed this bunch, which only took a little over a week. That silver pitcher was a find a couple of weeks ago from one of my favorite stores in Poulsbo, Details Home and Garden.
The African violets add a pop of color and a touch of spring to this tablescape. I remember having these plants all over the house when I was a child, and thought they were the prettiest things.
Hellebores are a wonderful plant to grow in the garden, and I can always count on their beautiful blooms through the winter. I cut as many flowers as I could the other day when I heard we were going to get about a foot of snow here this weekend.
I fell in love with these blue and white floral dishes from Home Goods. Don’t you feel that this color combination is seasonless and can be used anytime of the year?

Let’s Hear it for the Sunshine
The sun was shining brightly on the day I took pictures for this early spring tablescape. I almost waited for a cloudy day when the sun wouldn’t cast shadows all over the table. But I decided to go ahead with it for two reasons. The sun is a perfect spring touch for a tablescape, and we don’t get to see the sun much during the winter months, so this was a real treat!

Here’s a bit of white heather I picked from the yard.
I mixed my metals for this tablescape. These vintage books are from Books by Color – Jays World, providing both height and interest to my tablescape.

Thank you Stacy! I don’t use blue in my tablescapes very often so this was a lot of fun!
