Valentine’s Day Tablescape Ideas
Garden-Inspired Valentine’s Day Tablescape
If you’ve followed Shiplap and Shells for any length of time, you know that I will do just about anything to bring the outdoors into my house.
And what better way to do that than to create an amazing Valentine’s Day floral arrangement?
It all started with a trip to the florist. I picked out a gorgeous mix of roses, stock, and eucalyptus for my Valentine’s Day table.
Romantic Table Setting Pretty in Pink
The next tablescape comes from my friend Ann who shares 2 different sets of “pretty in pink” vintage dishware. Both were under $50 each and they pair beautifully together.
Ann finds the most incredible vintage pieces. I’m always in awe when I see the newest thrifted find and how little she paid for it. She also has some amazing collections that belonged to her mother like the clear goblets she added to her Valentine’s Day table.
Valentine’s Day DIY Pillow Ideas
Heart Pillows From Fabric Scraps
My friend Rachel is so talented when it comes to DIY projects. She makes the cutest pillows for every season, including the blue and white heart pillow I bought from her a couple of years ago. I’m still completely in love with it!
Here she’s made heart pillows from fabric scraps. The red and white ticking scraps are perfect for Valentine’s Day. And the best part about this DIY project? You don’t have to know how to sew to make one of these pretty pillows.
DIY Valentine Heart Pillow
Have you met my friend Kari Anne? She’s another AMAZING DIYer. I don’t think there’s anything she can’t do! What I like about my friend’s many projects is that they are easy. And I’m all about easy.
This is a sweet and simple Valentine’s project that only takes about 30 minutes. Who wouldn’t want to have a heart pillow like this? It’s made of red burlap fabric, polka dot ribbon, and lots of love.
Valentine’s Day DIY Heart Pillow Idea
Felted Heart Pillows with Pockets for Love Notes
My friend Kelly shares budget-friendly decorating ideas along with do-it-yourself projects that are fun, practical, and beautiful. She’s all about finding ways to combine happiness and home.
Her felted heart pillows with pockets (of love) are such a sweet idea for any loved one on Valentine’s Day. Adding the pockets to share little love notes and valentines was the perfect touch to spread love.

Jennifer | Cottage on Bunker Hill
One of the things my friend Jennifer does so well is to make easy and inexpensive craft projects that would sell for so much more at a store.
She’s sharing another easy DIY project for Valentine’s Day, this pretty heart-shaped wreath. Jennifer even shares an easy trick to making your own form if you can’t find a heart-shaped one at the craft stores.
How to Make a Beautiful Heart Wreath
Renae’s decor style is what she likes to call Vintage French Farmhouse. She loves mixing decorating styles, especially opposites like the glitz of a chandelier dripping in crystals with a chair upholstered in worn aged leather.
This sweetheart wreath that Renae made has such a romantic and vintage feel. The pink roses and the gold cupid’s bow speaks of true love. This wreath is rather easy to make and you don’t need a lot of supplies.

Amber lives in a beautiful 1921 yellow brick home and has a natural flair for designing cozy spaces with vintage style using found objects.
She’s sharing some adorable shabby Vintage DIY Valentine Hearts that she made using scrapbooking materials from her craft stash.
After gathering supplies Amber came across some beautiful vintage style scrapbook papers, Tim Holtz “Paper Dolls” and a few other scrapbooking items that inspired her to make several different shabby-vintage style hearts.
