I’ve never gone all out when it comes to decorating our home for Valentine’s Day. But I do love bringing in a pop of color along with some beautiful blooms to give my home a little love for this February 14th holiday.

For me, it’s all about “quick and easy” decorating and I’m going to show you 6 Valentine’s Day decor ideas that are just that.

Bringing flowers into your home, whether they are fresh or faux, is a simple way to decorate for Valentine’s Day.

It can be a challenge to find fresh flowers in your garden or outdoor spaces this time of year. There are still several options for you though.

  • Buy a bouquet from your local florist or grocery store.
  • Use realistic faux flowers for your floral arrangements.
  • Bring home a potted flowering plant.

Choose flowers with shades of red, pink, and/ or white. Add different types of foliage to add texture and contrast to your arrangement.

Anything goes when it comes to using vases and containers. I have used the following to display flowers in my home.

  • vintage pieces
  • colorful options
  • unique shapes and sizes
  • a mason jar to keep it simple.

Creating a pink and red Valentine’s Day tablescape is a great way to celebrate this romantic holiday.

I went with a simple approach using white plates, red glasses, and gold flatware. Adding a faux white chocolate-covered strawberry to each place setting gave my dining room table a festive touch.

You could also add any Valentine’s Day decorations with a heart shape or a heart garland as well,
