How to Freshen Up Your Bedroom for Spring
Are you already thinking about spring and how to decorate for the season? Here are a few tips on how to freshen up your bedroom for spring.
Spring always feels like a fresh start for me. It’s the perfect time to shift from neutral winter tones to a more bright and colorful look.
Trade in your heavy blankets for lighter bedding, and don’t forget to add flowers to the room! Here are a few tips on how to freshen up your bedroom for spring.

Spring Bedding
Freshen up your bedding for spring, and you will surely make a big impression, especially since your bed is the centerpiece of your bedroom.
Pack up those heavy blankets and flannel sheets, and change them up for more breathable fabrics such as linen or cotton percale. All bedding sources are listed at the end.
Spring Flowers
Because flower blooms are so colorful, adding them to your bedroom will brighten things up.
Fresh flowers are always a wonderful touch, but when they’re not an option, faux flowers and greenery work just as well. And most of the faux options these days, look so real.

Spring Decor
By displaying bunnies and nests with eggs throughout the bedroom, you’re adding a spring vibe.
Add a worn terra cotta pot with some fresh primroses, for the final touch.
My husband just made this faux mantel surround for me, so now I have the perfect place to show off my spring home decor.
My bedroom is a personal retreat. Making this space as cozy as possible, creates a more romantic feel.
Freshening up this space for spring makes such a difference in how I feel, and helps to lift my spirits. And during these uneasy times, we all need a sanctuary where we can relax and unwind.

Everything in your bedroom is stunning! Is your chandelier an antique? I have been stalking marketplace looking for one. I also love the accordion light that is over the bedside table. Stunning!

Hello Kim!
I found your website through a blog hop, and I’m so glad that I did! Not only did I read your most recent post. (Your bedroom is so soothing, so breath-taking.) I perused your other posts and absolutely fell in love with your decorating style. I especially love your use of color, natural textures and vintage items. I miss seeing color! Many other blogs use so much white in their decor that it seems cold and sterile. Your home feel warm and welcoming, unpretentious, cozy and lived-in! What a nice change! I cannot say enough about your home. If I lived there, I would never want to leave!
I can’t tell you how much your sweet words meant to me. I’m so happy to meet you! Thank you so much!
Oh my goodness, Kim…what a stunning bedroom! I totally amazed by that gorgeous mantel–your husband made it?! WOW!! And those built-in cabinets are really incredible. You’ve really provided so much inspiration for spring decorating. I just love everything! xo, Kristi

Kim it is just stunning!! Such a beautiful color palette!
Thank you Deb! I really appreciate the kind words.
So pretty and love your bedroom ready for spring. I have mentioned it before, love your bedding. I checked Target and it says Teal shadow. Can you tell me if it’s real teak? I have navy’s and cream. I would love to know, it looks grey on my screen. Thanks. Pinned .
Cindy
Hi Cindy! I just looked at the Target site and it looks just like my bedding. It’s more of a gray and dusty blue in my opinion. My quilt looks nothing like teal. Thanks for popping on here today!
