Add Fabulous Flowers to Your Home for Valentine’s Day
Bringing flowers into your home, whether they are fresh or faux, is a simple way to decorate for Valentine’s Day.
It can be a challenge to find fresh flowers in your garden or outdoor spaces this time of year. There are still several options for you though.
Choose flowers with shades of red, pink, and/ or white. Add different types of foliage to add texture and contrast to your arrangement.
Anything goes when it comes to using vases and containers. I have used the following to display flowers in my home.
Create a Pink and Red Valentine’s Day Tablescape
Creating a pink and red Valentine’s Day tablescape is a great way to celebrate this romantic holiday.
Start with a floral centerpiece followed by a few simple decorations such as candles, baked goodies, and red, pink, or white linens.
I went with a simple approach using white plates, red glasses, and gold flatware. Adding a faux white chocolate-covered strawberry to each place setting gave my dining room table a festive touch.
You could also add any Valentine’s Day decorations with a heart shape or a heart garland as well,
Show Off Your Valentine’s Desserts and Treats
Valentine’s Day is the perfect time to show some extra love in the kitchen!
Decorating with baked goods and treats is a fun way to celebrate the holiday. Start by baking some heart-shaped cookies and cupcakes in festive colors.
Place your sweet treats like these white chocolate-covered strawberries, in glass jars or cloches on the kitchen counter to create a beautiful Valentine’s Day display. Add some red and pink macarons or meringues arranged on a tiered cake stand.
Decorate With Glass Cloches and Canisters
Valentine’s Day is the perfect opportunity to add a little love to your home decor. Glass cloches and jars are a great way to create a whimsical and romantic vibe.
Whether you choose to fill them with heart-shaped trinkets, faux flowers, or red and white teacups, they are a great way to add a touch of charm to any room.
Fill them with rose petals, heart-shaped confetti, or battery-operated candles to create special Valentine’s Day home decor that is sure to impress.
Create a Romantic Bedroom for Valentine’s Day
Valentine’s Day is the perfect time to create a romantic bedroom.
Romantic bedroom ideas can be so easy to incorporate. To start, choose a color palette with red and/or pink. I used pink as my Valentine’s color in this space.
Wall art like this “LOVE” sign is the perfect statement piece.
Add some romantic touches like roses, rose petals, and candles around the room.
You could also hang some twinkling lights around the room to add a cozy atmosphere for Valentine’s Day.
Mix in Decorative Accessories With Valentine’s Day Colors
Spruce up your home for Valentine’s Day by adding some festive decor items.
To get the most out of your Valentine’s Day decor, try mixing in some home accessories with festive colors like red, pink, and/or white.
Choose accessories like throws, pillows, and vases in these colors to add a pop of color to your home. You can also display garlands, floral wreaths, and banners to give your decor that Valentine’s Day feel.
