Tour My Warm & Cozy Vintage-Inspired Fall Bedroom

Who loves all things vintage? Come along as I show you how I add vintage inspiration to my fall bedroom for a warm and cozy feel.

I’m always trying to transform my home into all things warm and cozy once the fall season hits.

Chunky throws and candles add to that comfy feel I’m looking for. But there’s just something about vintage furniture and accessories that bring my bedroom to a whole new level of “warm and cozy”.

You can see more fall vintage decor around my home.

dried hydrangeas in a galvanized bucket

Galvanized buckets are always a staple in my home for my fresh, faux, and dried flowers. Don’t these dried hydrangeas look amazing?

vintage wooden stool and pillowcases

Old vintage stools are a perfect piece to display decor that needs a little height or to use as a nightstand or small table next to a chair in the bedroom.

built-in with vintage fall decor

This bedroom built-in is a perfect place to display fabulous vintage decor for fall. The baskets, old books, antique clocks, and vintage corbels add just the right touch for a warm and cozy fall vibe.

I don’t know about you, but I don’t just decorate a room for a season and then leave it until it’s time to pack it away for next year.

I will rework my home decor several times before fall is done. Here’s another view of my fall bedroom before I changed some things around the other day.

rose colored quilt on bed

I just bought this quilt and matching shams at Target The description has the word “vintage” in it, because of the washed and faded appearance.

So I’m adding it to this post even though it’s not technically true vintage. The color is beautiful, even though I can’t get the pictures to do it justice.

metal basket with pillow cases

Metal baskets are one of those vintage decor pieces that I buy every time I see one. It doesn’t matter that I already have 20 of them, I love how versatile they are.

You can throw a bunch of pumpkins in them, or pretty much anything that will bring a touch of fall to the bedroom.

This rusty vintage chicken feeder has been so fun to work with no matter the season. The decor opportunities are endless!

chippy vintage nightstand

This is one of my favorite vintage pieces in my entire house. I found this sweet little chippy nightstand in a shop in Poulsbo, WA which is no longer in business.

How can you not fall in love with its imperfections? Look at how uneven either side of the drawers is.

pumpkin

I just found this little pumpkin at a little shop, which I thought was unique to any other pumpkin I’ve ever seen.

Many of these little vintage pieces were found on the boat trip we took in late September. The chippy vintage wooden frame and the wreath made of hops were part of my recent shopping spree.

Did I ever tell you about the history of this antique built-in cabinet? It’s a great story. This once stand-alone cabinet was made at the same time as our house was built, in 1920.

The wonderful thing about it is that each owner that sold the house, left the cabinet for the new owner, which I thought was such a sweet thing to do.

Because we have such a tiny room, we decided to build it into the wall when we were doing some other renovations in the bathroom (on the other side). And now it is part of the house and will never leave!

faux fireplace mantel in bedroom

We created this faux mantel surround with the hopes it would look like an original vintage piece. As you can see, it fits in nicely with the rest of the vintage furniture throughout our fall bedroom and has that chippy paint look.

Thanks for being here and I hope you love the vintage pieces in my bedroom as much as I do. They are the perfect fall decor to bring a warm and cozy feeling to any space you’re decorating for the season.

  10. I don’t know what it is about your bedroom (okay entire home) that I love so much. Could be the colors, the coziness, the totally out-of-the-box ideas (adding that cabinet into the wall in your bedroom) or the decor. Whatever it is, I want to pin each and every photo. Plus I want to live there too so there’s that. Thanks for sharing it and happy fall!
