Random This & That

We’re in full on spring now, isn’t it great?

It’s hard to believe that Mother’s Day weekend is finally here. For those of you that are celebrating Mother’s Day with your loved ones, I’m wishing you a joyful day with lots of love. I hope all of you mothers will get pampered and spoiled the entire weekend.

For those of you, like me, who have lost your mother or child, I’m giving you an extra big virtual hug. My hope is that you find comfort in your memories and can spend some quality time honoring your loved one. I will be in the garden planting something special in honor of my daughter.

Here’s something I found on how to spend Mother’s Day after your mom has passed. And this for those that have lost or are longing.

In the Garden – Everything is filling out so nicely right now. You can see what’s blooming in the garden right now in my latest garden tour blog post. Gardening is all I seem to be doing these days, and it looks like it will be another week before everything that needs to be done is completed. Wish me luck!

And I will be planting my tomatoes now that Mother’s Day is here! What’s the status of your garden right now?

Gardening to-do list for next week:

  • Finishing the process of transplanting seedlings and geraniums
  • finish dividing perennials
  • planting annuals, tomatoes, snap peas, zucchini and beans
