Saltwater Sounds Wrap-Up
Random This & That
It’s been a while!
We’re back from our boat trip around Puget Sound. We traveled up north to the San Juan Islands and visited other waterfront towns for almost 3 weeks.
I can’t wait to share all the fun with you in the next few weeks as I get all my notes and pictures together and write a blog post or two.
Some of my favorite stops were Roche Harbor, Langley, and Port Madison. There was so much to do…hiking, shopping, kayaking, crabbing, and just relaxing. Relaxing a lot!
I had many people ask me if we slept on our boat. Yes, we did. Our boat is basically an RV that floats. We cooked and slept in it. Depending on the places we went and the weather, we anchored some nights and stayed in marinas on others.

In the Garden
I was absolutely blown away by how different the garden looked when we got back.
I was so fortunate to have a housesitter to help out, but also had a couple of other helpers to weed and deadhead.
There’s still so much to do to catch up. Can’t wait to share how everything is looking next week.
Who loves fall candles as much as I do?
It’s officially time to welcome Apple Butter and Vanilla Bean to the Antique Candle Co. fall line-up. The votes were tied in the Fall Candle Tester round earlier this year so there are 2 NEW FALL CANDLES this year.
Apple Butter: Baked apples, cinnamon, pumpkin, and vanilla
Vanilla Bean: Vanilla bean, clove, and nutmeg
The best part is that these candles are part of the new feature: Build Your Own Bundle. BYOB lets you bundle up to 12 candles and save up to $85 off.
And don’t forget: Select summer candles and melts are up to 50% off.
