Tour My Warm & Cozy Vintage-Inspired Fall Bedroom
Who loves all things vintage? Come along as I show you how I add vintage inspiration to my fall bedroom for a warm and cozy feel.
I’m always trying to transform my home into all things warm and cozy once the fall season hits.
Chunky throws and candles add to that comfy feel I’m looking for. But there’s just something about vintage furniture and accessories that bring my bedroom to a whole new level of “warm and cozy”.
You can see more fall vintage decor around my home.

My Favorite Vintage Pieces for Fall
Galvanized Buckets
Galvanized buckets are always a staple in my home for my fresh, faux, and dried flowers. Don’t these dried hydrangeas look amazing?
Metal and Wooden Vintage Stools
Old vintage stools are a perfect piece to display decor that needs a little height or to use as a nightstand or small table next to a chair in the bedroom.
Charming Vintage Vignettes
This bedroom built-in is a perfect place to display fabulous vintage decor for fall. The baskets, old books, antique clocks, and vintage corbels add just the right touch for a warm and cozy fall vibe.
I don’t know about you, but I don’t just decorate a room for a season and then leave it until it’s time to pack it away for next year.
I will rework my home decor several times before fall is done. Here’s another view of my fall bedroom before I changed some things around the other day.
Vintage Washed Ruffle Quilt
I just bought this quilt and matching shams at Target The description has the word “vintage” in it, because of the washed and faded appearance.
So I’m adding it to this post even though it’s not technically true vintage. The color is beautiful, even though I can’t get the pictures to do it justice.
Vintage Metal Baskets
Metal baskets are one of those vintage decor pieces that I buy every time I see one. It doesn’t matter that I already have 20 of them, I love how versatile they are.
You can throw a bunch of pumpkins in them, or pretty much anything that will bring a touch of fall to the bedroom.
Rusty Chicken Feeders
This rusty vintage chicken feeder has been so fun to work with no matter the season. The decor opportunities are endless!
Chippy Vintage Goodness
This is one of my favorite vintage pieces in my entire house. I found this sweet little chippy nightstand in a shop in Poulsbo, WA which is no longer in business.
How can you not fall in love with its imperfections? Look at how uneven either side of the drawers is.
I just found this little pumpkin at a little shop, which I thought was unique to any other pumpkin I’ve ever seen.
Vintage Wooden Frames
Many of these little vintage pieces were found on the boat trip we took in late September. The chippy vintage wooden frame and the wreath made of hops were part of my recent shopping spree.
Vintage Pieces That Bring Character to a Home
100-Year -Old Cabinet
Did I ever tell you about the history of this antique built-in cabinet? It’s a great story. This once stand-alone cabinet was made at the same time as our house was built, in 1920.
The wonderful thing about it is that each owner that sold the house, left the cabinet for the new owner, which I thought was such a sweet thing to do.
Because we have such a tiny room, we decided to build it into the wall when we were doing some other renovations in the bathroom (on the other side). And now it is part of the house and will never leave!
Fall Vintage Inspired Mantel
We created this faux mantel surround with the hopes it would look like an original vintage piece. As you can see, it fits in nicely with the rest of the vintage furniture throughout our fall bedroom and has that chippy paint look.
Thanks for being here and I hope you love the vintage pieces in my bedroom as much as I do. They are the perfect fall decor to bring a warm and cozy feeling to any space you’re decorating for the season.

So cozy , love the colors just beautiful I am inspired to add some fall cozy to the bedrooms
We woke up to 2 feet of snow here in Montana this morning way to early for snow .
And I hadn’t gotten all my flower beds ready for winter ( I really enjoyed your suggestions on winter garden prep ) and
now they are covered in white stuff !!
Oh no! I can’t believe you have snow already. The good news is you can do most of the things in your garden in the spring. So just sit back and enjoy the snow.
Oh, my! I don’t think I’d ever leave this vintage, cozy bedroom. I don’t think I have just one thing that draws me in! The wall color is perfect for the room with the white bedding. This has been such a fun tour!
Thank you so much Christy! I really appreciate you being here.
KIM – this room is so gorgeous! Love all the vintage touches. I want to stay there!
Thank you so much Darla. I really appreciate it, I feel the same about your beautiful bedroom!
Boy did I enjoy seeing pictures of your gorgeous bedroom, Kim. I was very curious about the built-in cabinet in your room as I have never seen something like that in a bedroom. It is amazing that the cabinet has been sold with the house for year and years and now you’ve made it a permanent addition. It looks spectacular in your room and you have decorated it beautifully. I so much enjoyed your tour!
Thank you Paula. I always love to tell the story of the built-in, especially since we had no idea how to ever get it into this room until we started construction on the other side of the wall. It worked out perfectly!
Your bedroom is amazing Kim! I love all the vintage touches that make it so homey and cozy! You have done so much in your home and I love all the details! Thanks so much for joining me in this Fall bedroom blog hop!
Thank you Cindy. It’s been so much fun to see everyone’s beautiful fall bedrooms. Loved being here with you and the other ladies.
Your room is absolutely beautiful and the tones are perfect for fall. Those built ins are to die for, it is all really so pretty. So happy to be on the blog hop with you today.
Thank you Sonya! Those built-ins really save us because of the lack of space we have in the bedroom. So happy to be hopping with you today as well!
It’s gorgeous Kim – I really love that mauve quilt! It’s so pretty and looks amazing with the dried hydrangeas!
Thank you Stacy. I was a little nervous about adding too much color because of the blue walls, so I appreciate the compliment.
I don’t know what it is about your bedroom (okay entire home) that I love so much. Could be the colors, the coziness, the totally out-of-the-box ideas (adding that cabinet into the wall in your bedroom) or the decor. Whatever it is, I want to pin each and every photo. Plus I want to live there too so there’s that. Thanks for sharing it and happy fall!
That is such a compliment Cindy. I really appreciate the kind words. Happy fall my friend!
Oh my word – your bedroom is gorgeous! ?We would never leave if this were our bed LOL. Every inch of your space is beautifully decorated with vintage goodness.Absolutelyy beautiful!
Thank you ladies. I really appreciate the sweet words.
