My New Signature Wood Shutters from Blinds Chalet
I have been wanting wood shutters in my bedroom since we moved in 8 years ago. And I finally have them! These signature wood shutters are from Blinds Chalet. I couldn’t be happier with how easy they were to install, and the quality of their product.

The Before Shot
Don’t get me wrong. I love my bamboo shades, also made by Blinds Chalet. I have them throughout my home and they match my beach vibe perfectly. But my bedroom has a different feel from the rest of the house, and I wanted a more formal look in here.
Prep Work
We called Blinds Chalet and requested samples of the wood in several different colors. I can’t stress the importance of this step. The color we thought would match, after looking on the computer, was not even close. I would have been so disappointed if we had not taken that extra step in the process. As hard as it was to wait a little longer to get the samples in the mail, I would have been heartbroken if I hadn’t.
Another critical part of the process is getting your measurements correct. Blinds Chalet Signature Wood Shutters are custom made to your specifications, so there is no room for error. Before you measure the windows, make sure you know whether you want inside or outside mounting. Their wood shutters are available in over two dozen colors in whites and stains. The website states that the production time is 8-10 weeks.
The installation was a success, thanks to Blinds Chalet’s easy to follow directions. At least that’s what my husband told me! I always make him do the heavy lifting.
In reviewing my new Signature Wood Shutters from Blinds Chalet, I would say that they are very well made. The paint job was professionally done. Both my “picky” husband and I felt that these shutters exceeded our expectations.

Hi, Kim, your garden is so beautiful and your home is lovely. I am so ready for the fall. I haven’t changed by summer look yet, but I’m looking forward to getting my pumpkins out. It’s been really hot here in the 100’s and the fires here in California are really bad!!! So smoky. We are all praying for some rain!!! I work at a school and it’s been very different this year. No kids all distance learning. I am looking forward to you new look for the fall. Take care and blessing to you and your family. Janice from California
Hi Janice! Thank you so much for reaching out. It’s so nice to meet you. I pray that you will have rain soon. It is so sad to see what is happening right now in California. Be safe and I am sending positive thoughts and prayers your way.
These are the types of blinds I want in our kitchen as part of the makeover! Are there actually 4 shutters there so that the tops can be opened and the bottom closed, or only two blinds that look like four (if that makes sense?)
They look perfect above your window seat!
They would look beautiful in your kitchen Amber! They are two shutters, but each side has a top and a bottom. We did this because we wanted to open the slats at the bottom when we had the windows open at night, and still have the tops closed.
I love those shutters! They look great. When we were house hunting a few years ago, I was biased toward the houses that had those shutters!
Thank you Pam! I tend to lean towards those houses that have them as well. Enjoy your week!
