Saltwater Sounds Weekly: Garden Inspiration from the Best
Welcome to Saltwater Sounds, a collection of ideas, tips, and inspiration. This is where I share everything happening in the world of Shiplap and Shells, what’s to come, and the inspiration I’ve found from other bloggers around the web.
This and That
Happy Sunday!
Valentine’s Day is over, the Superbowl has been played, and now we can look forward to another holiday tomorrow. I don’t know about you, but February has been feeling really busy.
And then there’s the Northwest Flower and Garden Festival that started on Wednesday and runs through today. I went on Thursday and was entertained as always.
Normally I would share the event highlights here in my Saltwater Sounds post. But…since I took 50 pictures, I decided that this show needed its own special blog post. So be sure to check it out!

Updates on the Garden and Beach Cottage Next Week
I’ll be sharing lots of gardening news next week, including how the seedlings are doing in the greenhouse, the bulbs that are starting to pop up all over the garden, the new seeds I bought, and where all the seedlings are going to go in the cutting garden.
The bunnies are coming out today. Not the real bunnies but all the spring home decor. I can’t wait to get more of a spring vibe inside.

I so miss those little shops that carry all things vintage. They don’t have that here in California… where nothing old is appreciated, it seem…except Joe.
I am so lucky to have vintage shops here. I do wish I had some of the shops that the Eastcoast seems to have though. You’ll have come up for a visit!
Kim,
The show you attended sounds so amazing. I’m hopping over to see more. Thanks for sharing my ginger jar makeover. You are so kind.
It was such a great show, Rachel. I hope you like the pics. And your ginger jar is the best!
