This and That
Happy New Year’s Eve!
I hope you had the most wonderful holiday and made some amazing memories this past season.
I’m trying to recover from all the festivities that Christmas brought and am looking forward to some quiet time. My hubby, Jax, Ollie, and I are spending time on our boat right now. There’s nothing like being on the water. Even in winter.
We have big plans for New Year’s Eve (so much for enjoying some quiet time, right?). We’re going to the Heart concert in Seattle tonight. I don’t think I’ve been to a concert in almost 6 years so this should be fun.
What are you up to for New Year’s Eve? My husband usually can’t keep his eyes open until midnight so we’ll see how it goes this year. Finger crossed.

Around the Garden and Greenhouse
Stay tuned…seed starting is in just a couple of weeks and I’ll take you along with me. I’ll start with sweet peas and snapdragons.
Are you sowing seeds this year?
I’m finalizing my cut flower garden plan this week on the boat. I can’t wait to finish it up.
Around Our Beach Cottage
I took the Christmas decor down yesterday before we left on the boat. I didn’t do much to the living room but I did take the dried hydrangeas from the Christmas tree and filled the wooden dough bowl with them.
Who says dried hydrangeas are just for fall?
I’m just loving our hand-loomed wool area rug from Revival. It’s perfect for the winter months and is so cozy. It’s not just a rug. It’s a warm, cozy hug for my feet during these chilly winter months.
Use the code COZY10KIMR for 10% off your order. If you’re interested in our rug, just search for the style Pasithea once you’re on the Revival site.
